Hidan is a member of Akatsuki and a fanatical follower of Jashinism. Thanks to his religion, he is immortal and able to curse his opponents with a ritual. While performing his ritual, his skin turns black and shows white lines reminiscent of a skeleton. Hidan has no respect for anything or anyone.
